A secluded retreat of approximately 304 acres, including Murray Knob in Franklin and Roanoke counties, will sell at absolute auction Thursday, Nov. 19, with Woltz & Associates managing the sale.
The land, some of which is at an elevation of 2,286 feet, straddles Roanoke and Franklin counties on Easter Mountain, 10 miles outside Roanoke. It includes a two-bedroom chalet with a large deck that has unobstructed views of Smith Mountain and Smith Mountain Lake.
“We have been selling mountain properties in this area for a long time, but it’s been quite a while since we had one with views like this.
