Kennedy Wilson Auction Group, a division of the national real estate services and investment firm Kennedy Wilson, conducted two auctions of 41 luxury model homes on May 31st, and June 1st, 2008.

Saturday’s auction of 24 luxury model homes was held at the Holiday Inn Capitol Plaza in Sacramento and was attended by hundreds of bidders. The homes are located in Roseville and Woodland, two of Sacramento’s most desirable areas. Fiddyment Farm in Roseville is an upscale master-planned community. Woodshire in Woodland offers traditional residences, northwest of Sacramento. The three and four-bedroom homes ranged in size from 1,973 to 3,681 square feet of luxurious living space enhanced with a host of upscale design features. All homes were sold within one and half hour.

Sunday’s auction was conducted in Palmdale at The Oasis. The homes are located in the communities of Calico Terrace, Discovery Trails, Grandiflora and Anaverde ranged in size from 1,890 to 3,767 square feet and offer ideal floor plans for active lifestyle. The great enthusiasm and the high intensity of the bidding indicated that despite the current housing market, homebuyers’ interest in the area is still very strong. All homes sold within 45 minutes.
