Beginning Monday and running through Wednesday, Bid4Assets Inc., an online auction site for forfeited, surplus and tax-defaulted property from federal, state and local government and private industry, will conduct the auction of a single-family home in Morgantown.
Located at 470 Williams Road, off U.S. 19, the house was forfeited after the owner, Anthony Meredith, was arrested on drug charges in 2007. Meredith pleaded guilty to possession of heroin with intent to distribute in Monongalia County. He was sentenced in December to 10 years in prison, followed by three years of supervised …

A business park in Southport has been bought for £800,000 in a deal which may lead to the site being expanded.
Local property development company AMZME bought the site, which was formerly home to a telephone exchange, acquiring 14,000 sq ft of office, commercial accommodation and warehouse space, reports LDP business.

An auction of 100 condominiums in MetroWest on March 29 attracted 179 registered bidders from more than 14 states, as well as British Columbia and South Africa, according to a news release.
Each bidder was required to bring $5,000 in certified funds for each one-bedroom condo and $10,000 for the two-bedroom units.
Prices for one-bedroom units ranged from $71,500 to $77,000, while the two-bedroom units went for $93,500 to $110,000, the release says. Gadsden, Ala.-based The National Auction Group Inc, conducted the auction.
