Lake Ontario Fox island fetches $4M at auction

Lake Ontario’s Fox Island, once owned by a governor of New York state, was sold for US$3.78 million Friday at an auction that drew about 100 bidders.
Winning bidder Vance Wilson, a New Jersey resident, plans to keep the 95-hectare island near Cape Vincent as it is, said Jim Woltz, whose company handed the auction.

Wicklow Abbey Cinema sold

The derelict Abbey Cinema in Wicklow town has been sold, local auctioneer, Anne Lait, confirmed this week.
The cinema, which closed over five years ago, was put up for sale by tender which attracted a ‘healthy interested’ from perspective buyers.

Hong Kong government to auction Tai Po residential site
