UK Nuclear bunker for property auction

A nuclear bunker is up for sale at a disused airfield in Pembrokeshire.
The concrete building with metre-thick walls and steel shutters was built as an RAF communication base in the early 1990s at Templeton, near Tenby.

Australian Rate rise fears fail to dampen house sales

HOMEBUYERS defied the looming interest rate rise with more than 70 per cent of houses sold on a bumper auction day in Melbourne yesterday.
More than $330 million changed hands at auction and $205 million in private sales.

Kebble’s plot fetches millions at auction

The 4000-square-metre Bishopscourt plot of slain mining magnate Brett Kebble was sold for R7,6-million at an auction at Kirstenbosch in Cape Town.
SABC radio news reported that the stand was bought on behalf of an unknown businessman who was apparently on a trip abroad.
