ONE of the oldest buildings in Kirkby goes under the hammer at the next property auction held by The Venmore Partnership in Liverpool on Friday, March 24.

Whitefield House, in Ingoe Lane off Whitefield Drive, originally dates from 1703 when it was built as a single house.

The Georgian building was divided internally at a later date and now the semi-detached property is up for sale with a guide price of £180,000 at the auction in the Marriott Hotel, Queens Square in Liverpool City Centre.
